All Students Eat Free

Lunch Program Main Page Image

Under the Community Eligibiltiy Provision (CEP), all children attending Marion County School District will be able to receive breakfast and lunch for free.  The CEP allows schools that predominantly serve low-income children to offer free, nutritious schools meals to all students through the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs.  The CEP uses information from other programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Temporary Assistance Program for Needy Families (TANF) instead of traditional paper applications.  Therefore, it will not be necessary for parents/guardians to fill out a lunch application.

Breakfast and lunch meals follow the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines for healthy schools meals.
